A lot of work and thought went into the overall design of this site. We have strived to make a weather website that is fun for everyone, so whether your 9 or 99, Seaside Weather has something for you!
It incorporates some of the latest weather information services and devices, currently available on the Internet.
We have brought all this information together on one site for your viewing pleasure.
Our site works on a "Grid" format, so that when you make your selection a "grid window" will open up.
You can close the "grid window" in one of two ways, use of the traditional 'Red X' in the upper right hand corner of the window. Or you can use the 'Close Window' option button at the bottom of each page.
Our weather coverage area, is for the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and parts of South Louisiana. During Hurricane Season, we do offer a FREE Tropical Update, which can either be mailed to you, or you may view it here online.
Our weather forecasts are update *Four time daily from our weather service office.
Normal updates are: Mornings (between 7-9 am), Afternoon (between 12-2 PM),
Evening (between 4-6 PM) & Late Night (between 10pm-12 am).
*During Severe Weather - We will update on an hourly basis, till the threat has past.
Our local forecast are generated using the Sager Weathercaster, and the NWS New Orleans, LA.
All weather conditions, are being feed directly, LIVE from our weather station to your computer.
Equipment: Lacrosse 2316U Weather Station, 4" Heavy duty rain gauge, Beagle-LX2 Mobile Doppler Radar, NOAA Weather Radio, Dell GX-270 computer, Emachine W3400, Compaq SR1207
Weather Software: Sager Weathercaster v1.0, Weather Underground HeavyWeather Uploader (WUHU), StormVu 1.5 (Lightning Detection), HeavyWeather Publisher, WU NWR Uplink,
Windows XP Pro, Vista Home Premium.
